My name is Veronique, I am a national board certified health coach and the owner of First Step Wellness. Integrative Health Coaching is not just about your physical well-being, it is also about you as a whole person: your values, goals, work, balance, fulfillment and life purpose.

Through the coaching process, clients typically reach various goals, improve their performance and enhance their quality of life. During our initial appointment, we will be designing how we will work together. I will work to gain an understanding of who you are and what you wish for in your life, health and well-being. My approach puts you in the driver’s seat as we accelerate your progress by providing greater focus and awareness of choice.

What is integrated health coaching?

Are there health behavior changes that you want to make? Has a new health concern arisen that you want to pay particular attention to? 

Health coaching effectively motivates and supports health behavior change through a structured partnership between the client and coach. A coach is like a “personal trainer” except the focus will be on your whole self. As a coach, I help clients develop and realize their optimal health vision through inquiry, personal discovery and accountability. 

What services do you provide?

The Integrated Health Coaching relationship is a partnership. Both coach and client explore the client’s vision of optimal health. Through a series of guided conversations, we will take large health goals and sometimes overwhelming challenges and break them down into small action steps. As your coach, I am a resource for you to use to your best advantage. I will share concepts or insights and ask re-orienting questions that are intended to increase your success in attaining your health and personal development goals.

The Management of Chronic Illness such as diabetes, hypertension or arthritis. The coaching process will assist you in exploring options and behaviors that will positively support traditional medical treatments and medications.

These issues can be addressed through coaching by allowing you to a supportive vehicle for self-discovery. During our sessions we will identify triggers that bring on stress, anxiety and disrupt sleep patterns. This will allow you to build new behaviors that counteract negative responses.

Personal and Professional Development through the coaching model, clients can examine the effects of their personal and professional environment on their overall long term health vision.
